Take a look at Care Converge (http://www.careconverge.com). I think they have been around for some time and are doing some very exciting things in the field of consumer healthcare portals

Other sites like http://www.mydochub.com not only allows patients to book appointment with their doctors, but to anonymously rate doctors based on wait times and other criteria. Simple web-based health 2.0 companies are what patients will gravitate to.

I must say ZocDoc has great concept.I would like to read more articles.

Thanks a lot for a bunch of good tips about healthcare. I look forward to reading more on the topic in the future. Keep up the good work! This blog is going to be great resource. Love reading it.
